Scroll Goblin
A suite of gloriously pointless browser mini-apps: translate text to emoji, touch virtual grass, squeeze a screaming chicken, commune with god, paint potatoes, fence with slugs, blow up balloons with your voice, and play as a shelf-smashing cat.
Scroll Goblin is a free collection of silly, interactive browser toys powered by AI. Each mini-app does one absurd thing well — there is nothing to install and nothing to learn. Just open one and start poking.
Good to know
- Free to use — no account, sign-up, login, or email required.
- No ads, no crypto, no wallet, no payments, and no tracking beyond basic anonymous visit counts.
- Everything runs in your web browser; nothing to download or install.
- The AI-powered apps (Emoji Translator, Commune with God) send your input to a language model and return a playful response.
- A global leaderboard ranks the apps by how often they are visited and poked.
- Built purely for fun — it is a novelty entertainment site, not a tool, product, or service.
Apps
- Emoji Translator — Translate between human language and emoji in both directions, powered by an LLM.
- Touch Grass — Finally, a way to touch grass without going outside. Brush it, pat it, pluck it — it reacts.
- Screaming Chicken — A rubber chicken you can squeeze. Hold to compress, release to hear it scream. The deeper the squeeze, the bigger the scream.
- Commune with God — Ask the divine anything. A benevolent, non-denominational AI oracle answers with kindness, love, and support.
- Potato Painter — Grab a spud, drag it onto the canvas, and stamp masterpieces. Every potato you use grows back different.
- Slug Duel — A duel of two slimy duelists. Pick solo (vs a Sleepy, Average, or Sigma slug) or send a friend a link. Slide up and down, tap to lunge, and win the match to make your slug ascend into a confetti-soaked sigma champion.
- Balloon Blower — Blow into your microphone to inflate a balloon on screen — the harder you blow, the faster it fills. Tie it off in time to bank it, or keep blowing past full and watch it explode.
- Brainrot Button — Smash a giant button for instant affirmation, then record your own dramatic version and share it for seven chaotic days.
- Pushy Paws — Play as an orange cat with one goal: shove everything off the shelf. Heavy mugs, magic junk, and squeaky toys all fall differently.
- Musical DNA — String together amino acids and listen to the song they encode. Same sequence, same tune — every protein gets its own key, mood, and groove.
- Life of an Octopus — A playable nature documentary. You will hatch, hunt, hide, love, and die — the whole short, strange life of an octopus in a few minutes. Most never reach adulthood. Can you?
- Goblin Aura Farm — Mix colored energy into a jarred aura blob, raise it with feeding, rest, sunlight, music and pure chaos, then harvest it onto your goblin — who erupts into a dance picked by your color. Sneaky color-theory lessons, extremely dumb dances.
- Goblin Surveillance Mirror — What does the internet know about you? A goblin scans your device, remembers your visits, and infers who you are — then proves that deleting cookies isn't enough. Educational, slightly unsettling, runs entirely on your device.
- Leaderboard — Global leaderboard of the most-visited and most-poked Scroll Goblin mini-apps.
